I’m a practitioner of Chinese Medicine in Israel. It is now already a few years since I’d started using “Materia Medica” & “Formulas” first as a student and later as a very important daily tool in my work as a practitioner. The first book includes the charecteristics of each single Chinese Herb. That helps in preparing the Formulas and adjusting them by including or excluding some herbs. The “Formulas” is a very user-friendly book. The herbs in each Formula have an alfa-numeric code which can take one to the “Materia Medica” and to each single herb by details. I found the index with the Westren diseases and reference to the Formulas treating each one of them to be a great tool at my work. In short, great work been done on these 2 books and I highly recomend them to anyone who wants to be in touch with Chinese essence and ancient wisdom.

This book gave me a clear and friendly introduction to Chinese Medicine and especially to its use of Herbs. I found it helpful, user-friendly, and easy to work with. I learned a lot from this book. It would be a great tool for students of Chinese Medicine in Israel (or anyone who can read Hebrew), but also can be used by non-professionals, like myself. I highly recommend it. EXELENT BOOK !
